Our curriculum is aligned with Maine Common Core and Learning Results standards. Our goal is to provide curriculum and instruction that engages each student in quality educational experiences that will support them in their career choices beyond RSU #71. Our district-wide focus is to:

• Provide instructional strategies that engage every student in meaningful learning and discovery

• Develop school and district professional learning communities that improve academic performance by implementing instructional strategies and support systems/interventions that address the needs of all learners 

• Increase the rigor and higher order thinking in all instructional areas

• Identify and provide outstanding professional development that allows teachers to increase the use of instructional technology
