Superintendent's Message

Greetings from Mrs. McLean - June 2019

I have so enjoyed attending, participating in and hearing about our many RSU # 71 End-of -Years Traditions: K-5 Step-Up Days, Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony, Spring Concerts, High School Graduation, Senior Recognition Night, Final Assemblies, Prom, WCTC Awards and Graduation, BCOPE Graduation, Adult Education Graduation -- the list goes on and on.  We have so many wonderful traditions that celebrate our students' successes and the many important benchmarks in their lives Congratulations to our fabulous RSU # 71 Students, Families, Staff and School Board for a strong finish to a year of hard work and many successes!!

Summer Schedule - I will be taking off the week of July 1 - 5 to go to the beach in Ocean Park with my family and to visit with extended family and friends, my 61st year in a row to do so. I will be in the central office at least part of every week thereafter, albeit with a more relaxed schedule and attire.  Please feel free to be in touch (emergencies only from 6/28 - 7/7, please). The central office will be closed on August 15 and 16 while we move into our new digs.

Warm wishes to all for a wonderful summertime!!

Mary Alice
